NEW ZEALAND PRAISED

"A GREAT COUNTRY." By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 10, 11.10 p.m. Sydney, February 11. Mr. Hughes, Federal Attorney-General, interviewed, said New Zealand was a great country. The tiling that struck him most was the general prosperity and lack of centralisation, which was a most hopeful and cheerful feature, of the whole business. It was the salvation of New Zealand, for if there were one great town, instead of four as now, the future of New Zealand would be very much less bright. He was greatly struck with the scenery, which challenges comparison with the best in the world.
