SOUTH WALES STRIKERS
CHARGES AGAINST THE POLICE. By Cable—-i Press Association—Copyright. London, February 8. Messrs. Mabon and Keir Hardie have demanded a commission to enquire into charges of assault against the police during the South Wales strike. Mr. Churchill, in view of the high character of the Metropolitan police, refused to consent to a general enquiry, but said that he would investigate individual charges.
