SKXIOU COMPETITION. INGLEWOOD v. ATHLETIC.' These teams played an unfinished game on the Carrington road. Jnglewood went first to the wickets, and when the score had reached 220,> with the loss of six wickets, the innings was declared' closed. Gudgeon's 78 not out was a ! creditable score, and the others who reached double figures were CI egg (51), B. Sutherland (20), Matthews (10), and Marsh (12). Extras amounted to 32, of which 2(i were byes. Athletic made ft good start, playing out time, when the score was 75 for three wickets.
