LONDON. WOO,, SALES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Wednesday. Following is the High Commissioner's cabled report on the London wool sales unded date London, February 7:—The wool sulcs have closed. The market has been irregular, but closed firm at present quotations. British manufacturers are busy and trade is good on the Continent. Four thousand five hundred bales of New Zealand wool were held over. Estimated values: Superior merino Il'A-d to Is Id per lb; medium merino !)'/:;d to lid; inferior merino 8d to fld; fine crossbred? lid to Is 2d; medium crossbreds !)d to lO'/od, coarse crossbreds 8d to 10(1.
