IN THE MAXAWATU DISTRICT. »■■. ' By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palnicrston X., Last Kiglit. Messrs. Duulop and Keith, Scottish agricultural commissioners, with the Minister of Agriculture, visited the Wereroa State farm to-day, thjp, ■partythen coming on to Palmerston, where they were received by the mayor, the president of the A. and P. Association, etc. After the welcome they were motored out to the farms of Mr. Daivd Buick, M.P., and J. BaUillic, and visited the racecourse. They are the guests of Mr. Root. McNab, and will be motored oyer the district to-morrow, prior to visiting the Feilding show and being banqueted there.
