COMPULSORY TRAINING

The International Arbitration League has issued a manifesto signed by a thousand working class leaders, including 42 Labor Commoners, against compulsory training, declaring it is supported by a •wealthy organised conspiracy and reactionary press against workers' liberties. The manifesto adds that compulsion in any form is bad, and Home defence does not need it.
