AN ACETYLENE FATALITY

TWO MEN KILLED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 4, 7.50 p.m. Sydney, February 4. Mr. Edwards, Member of the Federal House for North Sydney, and a man named Graham were overhauling an acetylene plant at Edwards' residence when an explosion occurred. Both were killed. AN OPPOSITION MEMBER KILLED. Received 5, 5 p.m. Sydney, Febiuary 5. Edwards and Graham were killed instantly, sustaining terrible injuries to their heads. The force of the explosion blew the bodies several yards, and wrecked the shed. Edwards was apparently standing over the tank, watching the repairs. Mr. Edwards' death is a severe loss to the Federal Opposition party. He was one of the most prominent and strongest members.
