LOANS CARRIED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston N., Last Night. A poll here to-day carried two loans in connection with the water supplyone of £OSOO to raise the dam from'fiiteen feet to fifty feet and to make storage amounting to 18,000,000 instead of 1,000,000 gallons; and the other for £5500 for installing mechanical filters. The first was carried by 230 to 105, and the second by 240 to 184.
