DISESTABLISHMENT BILL. By Cable—Prefts Association—Copyright. Received 3, 10.30 p.m. ' London, February 3. The National Convention of Welsh Non-Conformists at Cardiff demanded the disestablishing and dissent owing to the church of Wales immediately after the Parliament Bill is adopted. Mr. Lewis, M.P. for Flintshire, speaking afterwards, urged them to trust to .Mr. Lloyd-George, their hostage in the Cabinet. It was hopeless, lie said, to expect a measure to be introduced in 11)11, but he believed it would be effectively dealt with next year. Mr. Asquith introduced the Established Church (Wales) Bill last year to terminate the establishment of the Church of England in Wales and Monmouthshire. The Bill was read a first time, but was afterwards withdrawn, the Premier intimating that Hie Government would make it a first measure this year.
