THE GAMING ACT
A WANGANUI ARREST. By Telegraph.—Press Association Wanganui, Last Night. The Club stables were raided to-day, and a man named John Farrell was a»rested on a charge of keeping a common gaming house. He will also be charged with frequenting the street for the purpose of betting. This is the first action taken by the local police under the new: Gaming Act.
