A Bill has been introduced in the Chamber of Deputies protecting genuine champagne and penalising imitations or adulterations. CADET REGISTRATION. Received 1, 1*2.23 a.m. Sydney, January 31. To-day was the last day for cadeta registration. Altogether 12,000 forms were issued at the Sydney Post Oflice, and "lesser numbers from others. It is estimated that 32,000 will he enrolled in New South Wales, and these will be divided into eight brigades, each of four battalions of 1000 boys. The next step will be the medical examination.
