TOO MANY EMIGRANTS

STEAMERS' ACCOMMODATION OVERTAXED. By Cable —Press Association —Copyrigkt. London, January 30. There are many complaints of congestion on ships sailing for oversea ports, particularly with regard to West Australian assisted passages, two thousand of which have been accepted. Those arranged for departure in December will be unable to sail before June; the earliest sailing for third-class full payment passages by the Orient line is Apiil 28, and by the White Star line April 0. Emigration agents complain of loss through the delay.
