BUSH FIRES
RAGING IN WESTLAND. -—-' By Telegraph.—Press Association. Westport. Last Night. A hush fire has been raging to-day in the vicinity of Cape Foulwiml and Bradshaw, and heroic efforts have been necessary in numerous cases to save the houses of settlers, also sawmills and tramlines. Several parties camping at Cape Foulwind, a popular seaside resort, have been driven from their temporary habitation by the dense volume of smoke, which was carried along by the fresh southerly wind.
