He alleged that Sir Wilfrid Laurier was primarily blameworthy for the graft which permeated every department of the Federal Government. Conflicting evidence was given as to whether Mr. Templeman, Federal Minister for Inland Revenue and Mines, stated confidentially that he desired the Royal Commission on immigration to be stopped. .Mr. Templeman has been summoned to give evidence on the point.
