Received 28, 12,5 a.m. Hobart, January 27. it the Postal Conference, Mr. Thomas, Federal Postmaster-General, announced that from March 1, post offices throughout the Commonwealth will close at sixo'clock at night, but arrangements would he made at the principal offices for despatch at later hours to meet each locality. No alteration would be made in the facilities for the despatch of Pres* telegrams.
