The bridegroom was supported by Mr. T. Williams. Mr. Main, father of the bride, gave her away. For the ceremony the church was tastefully decorated by the lady friends of the bride, a feature being a' lloral wedding bell. Miss Ibbotson presided at the organ, playing the Wedding March as the newly-wedded pair left the church. Afternoon tea was partaken of at the Hygienic rooms after the ceremony, and Mr. and Mrs. Johnson left by the 4.25 train. The bride's going away dress was an oriental blue silk striped voile, braided with black and cream guipure, lace yoke, and cream twite hat with flowers. A very large number of presents received by the parties, among which were a handsome silver-mounted biscuit barrel and autograph album (partially filled) from the Christian Endeavor Society and the Sunday School, with which the bride had been actively associated for some time.
