—i JUNIOR COMPETITION. CARRINGTON ROAD v. FIRE BRIGADE. Carrington Road met Fire Brigade on the South road ground, and put them down by five runs. For the winners, Oakes' 03 and Richards' 27 (not out) were the only outstanding features of the batting. The total was 117. Of the bowlers J. Bullot got two wickets for two runs, and Billings five for 35, Fire Brigade replied with d'l2, five batsmen getting into double figures, of whom Mr. Hardwick made 30.
