AN INHUMAN NEGLECT

THE PARISIANA'S CREW. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Perth, January 20. It is alleged that through the neglect of a civil servant the Parisiana's crew had to travel twenty-four hours in the train from Albany to Perth without food. They had no money, and the Government directed that they should be fed, but an officer neglected to telegraph instructions.

The Premier has decided to draw the Frencli authorities' attention to the fact that the provisions at St* Paul Island, where the crew landed, had not been renewed for eighteen years, and that the biscuits there were mouldy and unfit to cat.
