AMUSEMENTS

BIOGRAPH PICTURES. The present fine series of pictures will be screened only one more night, the occasion being to-morrow. Patrons cannot afford to miss this programme. A powerful dramatic story is portrayed in the picture "Jane Eyre," an adaptation of the famous book by Charlotte Bronte. A more sensational drama equally good is "The Fire Chief's Daughter." A splendid film depicting military life at the present day is included in "Lord Roberts presenting The Colors," whilst nn interesting and popular film, "The Warwick Bio Chronicle," contains excellent photography of recent notable events. "A Piece of Lace" is a drama with a powerful love story throughout. The industrial portion is not over-looked, an education film, "The Sisal Industry,' showing the prepared fibre of the American aloe worked into cordage by native workers. The comics are screamingly funny and include, "The Butler's Revenge," "A Persistent Lover," "Tontoline Ballet Girl," and a clever and humorous satire on the Johnson-Jeffries fight named "Black and White."

The pictures were greatly appreciated last evening, and will be repented tomorrow (Wednesday) evening. The excellent programme can be recommended '.•ith all confidence.
