AN AMERICAN EXPERIMENT. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. New York, January 22. Lieut. Beck, of the United States signal service, sent wireless messages from an aeroplane in which he was 6eouting over a supposed enemy's country at San Francisco. Lieut. Beck was accompanied by a skilled aviator. The messages were received without error. The experiment is accepted as proof of the aeroplane's effectiveness in scouting.
