The officers wer« fl strongly opposed to this, and the hope that the cadets would remain under the control of the ter of Education. *^^H In reply to a question as to those officers desiring to retain the rifle could do so, Major Macdonald plained that the rifles must be to the store. The went on further to explain that partment was prepared to for £1 for the former up to £5, the latter up to £9 Lis.
