MATTHEWS & BENNETT'S REPORT. Matthews and Bennett report a good entry of cattle at their Inglewood yards on Wednesday last. There was a medium entry of pigs, and there was a good dunand for fat pigs, though exporters were unable to do business. The demand for stores and big slips was a shade firmer than last week, but suckers again sold very cheaply. Porkers and baconers met with brisk sale, owing to the small number penned. Ltd., report: At Waikanao on Tuesday we yarded 1500 sheep and 250 cattle. A keen demand existed for all classes, and we have to report a most successful sale. The bulk of the cattle comprised good weaners, for wlncn (here was good competition, and they sold at prices in advance of recent quotations.
