There is always a use for oddments of almost any kind in a well directed household. In a large busy store oddments will accumulate, and must be cleared out at the end of the season. Ambury's are offering big inducements to shoppers for a few weeks. All odd lines of summer goods in the various departments are thrown out to be cleared riglit away at a big sacrifice, including some very special job purchases to "o at less than half price. " Melbourne apparel "puts folks on good terms with themselves," because it fits, is stylish, looks well and wears well. The. stock is so well known for complete assortments that the first thought when variety is needed is "The Melbourne." Furthermore, what is bought at the big corner store is good, and, at lowest price possible for quality.—Advt. The half-yearly sales 'held by this firm are quite the biggest feature of the drapery and clothing trade in the province. Every item advertised may be sent for by post with the fullest confidence, and if not sold out orders will be filled by letnrn mail. Better still is a visit at this time to their store.
