ANGLO-GERMAN FRIENDSHIP

A meeting was held at Westminster to establish an Anglo-German Friendship Society, amalgamating with another with the same object. The Duke of Argyle suggested the preparation of a brief statement for circulation amongst schools in Germany, showing our ties of blood and common interests, in order to dispel the idea that we as a nation are naturally antagonistic, and to show that indeed we are naturally friendly to Germany.
