Piehon, the French Minister of Foreign Affairs, that Holland is a sovereign nation, and not a neutral State, and that interference in her internal affairs would be equivalent to tutelage. They add that Germany has never attempted to influence Holland, and she will not lend a hand in the curtailment of her sovereign rights.
