The Tasmaiiian-South African' match was continued to-day. The first occurrence out of the common was the dismissal of the remainder of the visitors. Then tlie spectators were treated to a line stand by Martin and Smith for Tasmania. The partnership resulted in 154 runs, the former scoring 111,'!, and the latter 02. In the visitors' second innings tlie, home team bowled and liehled so well that four batsmen were dismissed for 14 runs. The .South Africans fielded well, but fell short of the brilliancy of the Tasmanians., .who now have a chance of making a close match of it. Scores:
