The oversea trade of Victoria last year totalled £37,858,377, an increase of nearly 10 per cent, on the previous year. Butter shows the largest expansion, the increase amounting to G2u'o tons. The exports of wheat increased 1,471,050 bushels.

For the half-year ended December 31 meat exports increased SO per cent., and butter nearly 50 per cent., compared with the first half.
