A ROYAL TOURIST
IS IMPRESSED WITH AUSTRALIA,
By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, January 18.
Prince Leopold of Battenburg proposes to spend three weeks in New Zealand. He is favorably impressed by Australia as a tremendously go-ahead place, and is struck by the fact that there is no lack of work and that thousands of immigrants are needed. He says that if the laboring classes at Home realised the tremendous openings here for them they would be only too willing to come. Australia, he thinks, should emulate Canada by undertaking a vigorous advertising campaign.
