R. Opie, of Canterbury, won the 100 and 230 yards events. Woodger was not a competitor. ,)'. Jf. Perry, of Masterton, won the 75 yards handicap from scratch in 7 4-ssee. In the three-mile walk, the judge disqualified three competitors, and wa.s hooted by a section of the public. The official time of 31 sec. [given for the 3l>o yards Ladies' Bracelet, caused a good deal of doubt. The track' was re-mcasured and was found to be lfi yards 2 feet short. CHAMPIONSHIP EVENTS. High Jump.—H. A. Hodge and L.
