THE NORTHERN TOURNAMENT. By Telegraph. —Press Association. Auckland, Saturday. The Northern Bowling Association's annual tournament was brought to a conclusion to-day, the finals of the champion rink and pairs matches being played in perfect weather. This morning's games resulted in wins in the full rink match for the Onebunga rink, skipped by Mcintosh, and in the pairs for the Turanganui pair, skipped by Martin. This afternoon the tournament was brought to a conclusion with a social function, at which the prizes won during the tournament were presented. A thirtoen-rink match between the visitors and Auckland was won by Auckland by 300 points to 200. Onehunga defeated Ponsonbv in the final of the rink match by 21 points to 14, and Turanganui defeated Thorndon in the pairs match by 19 points to 17.
