NO CHANGES IN SUPERIOR i OFFICERS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. , j Whilst in town to-dav, on his way to ■ Dunodin, the Hon. Dr. Findlay, Minister of Justice, was asked by a Press representative regarding statements which have been published hinting at further changes amongst the higher placed of- *■■ fleers of the police force of the Domin- i ion. Dr. Findlay said that no further . changes will be made amongst the ,-. superior officers of the force for some ' i considerable time. There would be, how- :• ever, some transfers and promotions con- & sequent on the two retirements from the'-')* force announced this Week, and, in ad- !j dition, tlierc would from time to time A be the usual transfers and promotions • « among the rank and file.
