THE EAST fcGMuAT MISSION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. '. '„' Wellington, Lat flight. ' «-, An application from the East Egmonfc Mission for division into two station* was further discussed. Uu the report of " the stationing committee, it was finally agreed that tlie application be not grant- ' ed, but that a saddle-bag mission be established in the district, under the control of the missionary executive. A fund for the support of the new missioner was opened m the room, and in a few minutes it was announced that just over £llO of the £l5O required had been promised. On the recommendation of the stationing committee the application of the Rev. J. Nixon for temporary work was i received, and it was decided to utilise : nis services as opportunity offered. The application of Mr. N. Gatman for ' employment as home missionary was granted for twelve months. ; ' It waa reported that during the last year no claim had been made upon the fire insurance fund. Five new churcnes were reported as having been built during the year. They were: Waterview, Auckland; Anderson'i Bay, Dunedin; Huiroa, Taranaki; Westmere, Wanganui; the Beach, Foxton. A debit balance of £l7 12s was re- ' ported in connection with the Home \ Mission Fund. A sum of £5lB 6s had been received from the stations, while grants paid out totalled £SOO 17* M. The total expenditure was £578 10s lid.
