Wollongong made IU3 for the loss of six wickets. The visitors were unused to the matting wicket.
The following will play for Carrington Road against Athletic*on the Recreation Sports Ground this afternoon, play to commence at 2.15 p.m: Perham, Benbow, Avery, Lash, Jordan, W. McEwon, Tribe, Marcussen, H. MeEwen, N. Perry and another.
The following will represent New Plymouth in their unfinished match v. Inglewood to-day:— Whittle, Weston, E. Lash, F. Bowles, A. S. Ilasell, W. P. Nieoll, M. G. Williams. 11. J. Price, li. Ingram, C. Kairbrother, L. Kind.
The following will represent Fire Brigade against Athletic on Thursday at the West End ground, play to start at 2-30 sharp:—J, Best, E. Billings, Bullot (3), B. O'Halloran, T. Tuohy, S. Ilodge, A. Ilill has been elected lion, secretary of the North • Taranaki Cricket Association. At the meeting on Monday night a hearty vote of thanks was passed to Mr. M. G. Williams for acting as secretary since Mr. T. R. Soutliall's retirement.
