GRASS FIRES AT WAGGA
STARTED BY LIGHTNING. By Cable—Press Association— Copyright, Sydney, January 10. During a storm at Wagga, lightning struck and destroyed a wire fence four miles long. At every knot the wire was seared through. Fifty grass fires started, but were quickly extinguished.
