The Chamber of Deputies ratified the Franco-Japanese Convention for the mu-' tual protection of trade-marks in China, also a convention dealing with postal orders from New Zealand. A Bill was introduced making a railway strike equivalent to sabotage. The preamble emphasises the privileged position of employees of the public services; hence strikes are an encroachment on the p/iiblic rights. J
