WINNIPEG STRIKE RIOTS
CAR DRIVERS DEMOLISH THE CARS. By Cable—Press Association.—Copyright. Ottawa, December 2.0. During a street car strike at Winnipeg the non-strikers were attacked in the street in a blinding snowstorm with coal and other missiles. The windows of twelve cars were smashed, and many employees injured.- Ties chained to the rails brought the cars to a standstill. A thousand workmen, sympathisers with cardrivers, have struck at Winnipeg. In a riot fourteen street cars were demolished, and several men injured.
