CHRISTCHURCH RACING CLUB. By Telegraph*—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. The Christchurch Racing Club's summer meeting opened at Canterbury Park under very unfavorable weather conditions. Rain fell during the night, and continued without intermission all day, making the going very heavy. The attendance was considerably affected, and totalisator investments dropped from £3743 10s to £2302 10s. Thirteen bookmakers were licensed at fifteen guineas.
