A DISASTROUS BLAZE
LOSS OF LTFE FEARED. By Gabie—Press Association—Co'ij right. Sydney. December 13. A disastrous fire occurred at Nathan's furniture warehouse, Albury. An employee was dressing a window when a curtain ignited. The man was enveloped in flame, and had a narrow escape. The building, which was of two storeys, was gutted. One of the walls collapsed, and several people were buried in the debris. Four were injured, and it is feared one man perished. The damage is estimated at £ 12,000. As far as can be ascertained there was only a light insurance.
