Volunteer Claim. —Prospecting on this property has disclosed a reef Bft. to 12ft. wide, with stone similar to the flat reef previously worked on, carrying good values. Samples of this reef will be forwarded next week. Dreadnought Claim. —The tunnel on this claim has been advanced 20ft. for the week, and is penetrating fine sandstone country in contact with hornblend andesite. Gordon Claim.—The drive on the Welcome Jack reef has been advanced 66ft. for the past three weeks. The reef is composed of a fine body of quartz sft. wide with very little manganese. Opening up strong body quartz, north boun- ; dary of Gordon, reef 15 inches wide.
