PHYSICAL DEFECTS OF RECRUITS. By Cable—Press Associations-Copyright. Received 7, 9.15 p.m. Ottawa, December 7. The Quebec Liberals promise to support Sir Wilfrid Laurier's Navy Bill. It is hoped that the anti-Navy agitation by the French Canadians is abating. Seventy-five per cent, of the "recruits for the Canadian navy are afflicted with tobacco heart and the "moving picture eye." Recruiting is brisk.
