An' exciting incident occurred on the training ship Port Jackson, which has arrived'from London. Off the New South Wales coast a cadet fell overboard. He was caught on the cross-jack sheet. The first, second and third officers attached lines to themselves, and sprang after him. All were dragged at the rate of seven knots for a considerable time, but eventually the vessel luffed, and they were taken aboard, greatly exhausted.
