STRATFORD DAY BY DAY

(From Our Own Correspondent.) Stratford, Last Night. Several Stratford residents left this morning for Palmerston North, where they will attend the show of the National Sweet Pea Association. During Dr. Carbery's absence at Palmerston North, Dr. Menzies is in charge of the Stratford Hospital. The Rev. Father Dwyer will leave for Masterton by tlie mail train on Wednesday. To-day thers is nothing but bustle throughout the town, and the cause is, the Show. Exhibits are going up to the ground, and the services of carriers are at a premium. If the weather keeps fine, there should be a very large crowd. The Eev, Father Treacy arrived in Stratford last night, and is being tendered a welcome to-night.
