ENTERTAINING THE FLEET. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, December 4. Eight hundred American sailors were entertained at the Guildhall. In replying to the Lord Mayor's welcome, Commander Ames said that personally he believed' that if the British Empire were seriously menaced by an external enemy the British people might count upon every man, every dollar, and every drop of blood from their kindred across the sea.
