POST OFFICE CHANGES
PROMOTIONS AMONGST POSTMASTERS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night, The Postmaster-General announces the following changes in the Post and Telegraph Department: Mr. W. J. Chaney, chief postmaster at New Plymouth, promoted to Napier in place of Mr. E. V. Semi, deceased; Mr. A. P. Dryden, assist-ant-postmaster at Auckland, promoted to chief postmaster, New Plymouth; Mr. T. Ait'ken, accountant, chief Post Office, Auckland, to be assistant postmaster in the same office; Mr. P. G. Hanvood, accountant, Chief Post Office, Wellington, transferred to a similar position at Auckland; Mr. R. D. Kelly, accountant and clerk, Chief Post Office, promoted to accountant, Chief Post Office, Wellington.
