Seven thousand are workless at Nantes, and hundreds of families are (homeless. Railways are submerged around Orleans. The bursting, of a dam at Montjean submerged the neighborhood to a depth of six feet. The Chamber of Deputies has voted £6OOO sterling for the relief of sufferers.
