PARK TENNIS CLUB
Members of the Park Tennis Club who are interested in seeing the courts and grounds in good order for the opening day, late in this month, are asked to meet on the courts this afternoon at two o'clock, !to assist in one or two "jobs" that are very necessary. The caretaker states that "the more rolling, the more play;" so members who are free in the evenings can secure their own enjoyment by taking a hand ait the roller. It as not hard or heavy work, and it means much to the club, whose committee does not feel warranted in, engaging labor to the extent that would be necessary to do the rolling. In their own interests, and to prevent the embarassment of the committee, members will probably take this matter in hand, ahd communicate their willingness to' any member of the committee. The lady members are doing their share by arranging the garden party, the proceeds of which are to be devoted to the erection of the clubhouse, and this will entail a good deal of work upon them. It is decidedly "up to" the menfolk to have the lawns ready for ithe ladies.
