A PROTEST FROM DUNEDIN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. At a meeting of the Trades and Labor' Council to-night a resolution was adopted, after an animated discussion, expressing surprise and indignation at the action of the President of the Arbitration Court in refusing to make an award on the shearers' shed hands dispute, and asking the Minister to state how much he was going' to allow the persecution to continue, as upon' his shoulders must rest all responsibility in event of an industrial revolt; and also that the executive be instructed to draw up a letter to the Minister, showing "the inconsistencies and unfair decisions of the President of the Court"
