THE BROOME HURRICANE
THE OFFICIAL REPORT. By Cable.—Press Association. —Copyright Received 30, 10.50 p.m. Perth, November 30. The official report of the Broome cyclone is that 67 pearling boats were blown ashore, 28 sunk attlieir moorings, and ten are still missing. Six of them are known to have been sunk, and there is no hope for the others. Eleven bodies of colored men have been recovered, and forty more are known to have perished. Three whites are known to have been drowned. The estimated damage to the pearling vessels is from £14,000 to £•20,000.
