THE HAWKE CUP. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christeliureh., Yesterday. The following teams have entered for the Hawke Cup presented for competition amongst cricket associations outside the main centres: North Taranaki, South Taranaki, Wairarapa, Manawatu, South Canterbury. Southland. The Cricket Council has now made the drawas follows:—Wairarapa v. Manawatu, North, v. South Taranaki, South Canterbury v. Southland. The winner of the South Canterbury-Southland match will have a bve in the second round.

The selection of grounds will be by mutual agreement or by draw. Matches in the first round must be played before January 4.

FITZROY v. CENTRAL. Fitzroy met Central on the Sports Ground, but could make no stand against the latter team's bowling. R. Marshall, a Central boy, made a score of 42, and also bowled very well, taking three wickets for 12 runs. The other Central bowler, Howson, took seven wickets for 13 runs.
