By Telegraph.—Press Association. Invercargill, Last Night. At the Supreme Court to-day a fairly large criminal list was disposed of in short order. For being accessories after the escape of two prisoners (by giving them ' comforts and. assistance) William A. Robertson and Jas. Robertson were each fined £5 and £4 costs.

For attempted murder at Waipouna : mu Jas. Louttit was sentenced to 12 years' imprisonment. For selling a postal packet containing money, Henry Faithful Winter, a letter carrier, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment. Henry Greenway, for making a false declaration under the Births and Deaths Registration Act, was fined £5. John Burke and Percy Hutchins, charged with breaking and entering and theft, were admitted to conditional probation, and Chas. McQuarrie, a companion, was sentenced to six months.' Samuel Locelyn (a lad), for breaking and entering, was ordered six months' reformatory treatment.
